2023 Chili Cookoff Supporters
The 2023 Carolinas Chili Cup Cookoff for MCLEO
In November of 2023, residents of a Moore County subdivision held their annual Chili Cookoff as a fundraiser for MCLEO. For the 3rd year in a row, attendance topped 100 people. Live music was provided once again by Whiskey Pines of Southern Pines. Over $8500 in funds were raised by sponsors and contestant entries that day, in addition to thousands of dollars in prizes for the contestant prize table.
Platinum Sponsors donated over $1500 in cash, prizes and services. Gold Sponsors donated over $500 in cash and prizes. Silver and Bronze sponsors donated cash and prizes totaling over $250 and $100 respectively. The event was also supported by numerous local businesses that generously donated gift cards for the prize table.
In 2024, all remaining prizes will be raffled off at MCLEO for additional funds. For the last 2 years, the total contributions raised as a result of the Cookoff was over $10,000… and we expect the same results for this year.
